YHWH went on speaking to Moses, saying:
Tell the Israelites, In the seventh month, on the first of the month, you should observe a complete rest, a memorial signaled by a trumpet blast, a holy convention.
You may not do any hard work, and you will present an offering made by fire to YHWH.
YHWH then said to Moses:
Make two trumpets for yourself; make them of hammered silver, and use them to summon the assembly and to break up the camps.
When both of them are blown, the whole assembly must be summoned to you at the entrance of the tent of meeting.
Look! I tell you a sacred secret: We will not all fall asleep in death, but we will all be changed,
in a moment, in the blink of an eye, during the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised up incorruptible, and we will be changed.
For this which is corruptible must put on incorruption, and this which is mortal must put on immortality.
And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
When they moved, these would move; and when they stood still, these would stand still; and when they were lifted up from the earth, the wheels would be lifted up together with them, for the spirit operating on the living creatures was also in the wheels.
Over the heads of the living creatures was the likeness of an expanse that sparkled like awesome ice, stretched out above their heads.
Under the expanse their wings were straight, one to the other. Each one had two wings for covering one side of their bodies and two for covering the other side.
I will encamp around my house against the army, that none pass through or return; and no oppressor will pass through them any more: For now I have seen with my eyes.
Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king comes to you! He is righteous, and having salvation; lowly, and riding on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem; and the battle bow will be cut off. And he will speak peace to the nations; and his dominion will be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.
You shall make the fiftieth year holy, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee to you; and each of you shall return to his own property, and each of you shall return to his family.
That fiftieth year shall be a jubilee to you. In it you shall not sow, neither reap that which grows of itself, nor gather from the undressed vines.
For it is a jubilee; it shall be holy to you. You shall eat of its increase out of the field.
In this Year of Jubilee each of you shall return to his property.
If you sell anything to your neighbor, or buy from your neighbor, you shall not wrong one another.
